Atlanta Championship Getaway Campaign: a Citywide Focus
Digital Edge’s mixed-media approach creatively heightened awareness for Atlanta’s citywide diversity, entertainment options, connectivity and new convention campus developments. The campaign brought in 428 leads.
Atlanta is a very hospitable convention city, but preconceived notions about the destination provided a challenge. In order to change visitor perception, we assisted Atlanta CVB in highlighting the new developments and features of the city — aspects that people simply didn’t know about. Atlanta wanted to go beyond raising digital awareness. They wanted to engage with planners.
Through promotion ideation, we created a site visit around a top athletic event at the brand new Mercedes-Benz stadium. The promotion not only included a sneak peek at the new convention campus development, but also featured hands-on activities. It increased visibility to the (perhaps, undiscovered) meeting districts, new developments and activities within the city.
