THE NEED
Visit Savannah was looking to better position their destination as a prime meetings and conventions location and create awareness for the 2024 Savannah Convention Center (SCC) expansion—doubling the center’s size. They needed a knowledgeable meetings marketing agency to help them get the job done. That agency was Digital Edge.

THE PARTNERSHIP
Savannah is a classic Southern city with a twist. Digital Edge would extend the story to attract meeting planners—focusing on groups that fit the newly renovated and expanded convention center. Our agency developed a comprehensive plan to:

• LinkedIn training for the destination sales team with ongoing support to increase the team’s ability to sell digitally via the platform and enhance the destination’s profile
• Grow Visit Savannah’s social media presence through Digital Edge’s social distribution program (sponsored posts on LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram & Twitter; organic and sales team posts on LinkedIn, and lead generation ads on LinkedIn)
