Digital Edge was invited to present on three topics during the eTourism Summit 2016 for the “Wooing Meeting Planners Track”. As a digital agency with a specialty in meetings marketing, we shared our thoughts for how to attract meeting planners using digital methods to kick off the track. We spoke about our on-site content marketing experience with Visit Park City in preparation for FY2016-2017’s program of work. Our goal for the trip was to collect real content and conduct field research to showcase the destination’s offerings to top-level meeting planners within their defined target audience. We discussed how our strategy for taking our group-centric videos, images and interviews and amplifying them digitally to planners all year long.

Digital Edge spoke about one our most successful campaigns for Rapid City to date: The Amazing Rush. Our campaign concept of a competition based on the popular TV reality game show, The Amazing Race was created to offer something new and fun to planners, rather than just another traditional FAM trip.
